Change
Whatever we do, it's a learning curve and we pay tuitions; so applies to web design / promotion. This Website was moved from penpal section of loveislonely.com when loveislonely got huge and got its own theme. What I learned was, actually, whatever major change you make to your website, there might be potential harm; especially when you change your URLs, the traffic will get hurt, simply, search engines don't like change, because change will increase unnecessary work flows and search engines are only excited about content change, since this is what makes them special. If you have to remove an existing URL, I would suggest you to replace it with other content or reserve the URL for future use, instead of deleting it; cherish every URL you gained a certain position in search engines and they are treasures. Think far when you start; get your site a domain and a hosting; pick up a subject neither too broad nor too narrow. It's always good to get a domain, otherwise Yahoo will ignore you. If you want to get noticed by three major search engines: Google, Yahoo and MSN, get your site a domain. You will find these major search engines are equally important. Your traffic will be doubled than if only one of them favors you. So this is an important message I would like to add to this almost perfect article: "27+1 Tips for Building and Maintaining a Blog Audience" from SponsoredReviews - a paid blogging system I'm happily dealing with.
SponsoredReviews is quite different from their competitors. They are flexible. For example, they implement Manual Pricing that Bloggers can set their own price. The system also makes recommendations based on its automated ratings system. Their Customer Service is also efficient.
